Normally I don’t write reviews but on this stay I just had to rave. Several weeks ago, I had the privilege of staying with my family at a fabulous house we rented from Hampton Properties.  I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, things always look better in the pictures.  But, truly, this house was more than I had ever anticipated.

We opened the door to a spacious home with lots of windows showcasing gorgeous views of bright, flowering bushes.  The home was beautifully appointed with lovely, comfortable furniture with a modern touch. The atmosphere was warm and homey. We felt immediately at peace.

Every bedroom had its own artistic flavor.  The beds were comfortable the towels were fluffy.  We all slept very well. All appliances worked perfectly.  In the Master Bedroom there was power everywhere so we could run our electronics or plug them up right next to us.  There was lots of closet space.  Everything was so well thought out.

The hot tub was luxurious, the pool clean and delicious.  The setting was private and quiet. There was a notebook of things to do and places to eat in the Hamptons which we took advantage of.  We wanted for absolutely nothing except to return as soon as possible.

I would highly recommend this home to any families looking to enjoy the Hamptons at a reasonable price. I can safely say that you get the most bang for your buck staying at one of Marilyn’s Homes. We have stayed at 2 of her other homes in the past. This is our 7th year with Marilyn and we keep coming back to this house for so many reasons. The house has enough beds for about 16 people to sleep very comfortably. The entire house has been updated and well maintained. The master bath is especially nice. The location of this home is perfect. The house offers a lot of privacy. This was great when my family was enjoying the pool and hot tub we didn’t have to worry about neighbors because we were pretty far away from them. Kitchen is well stocked with cookware, plenty of dishes, etc. Marilyn and her crew were always approachable when we had questions about the house and how things worked. There was only one negative about the house… My family was very sad when we had to leave. We already booked for the summer of 2018.

The home was unequivocally beautiful, clean, extremely spacious, and very comfortable for a large group. All the appliances in the kitchen were relatively new and worked great. The pool and back yard are delightful which made each day relaxing and enjoyable laying in the sun and soaking up the warmth. While the house is very secluded the house is only a 5 min drive from the center of town. Marilyn was so great to work with and even left us a book with information about the house including anything one might need to know about the house. From the moment we met Marilyn we felt very welcomed by her.

My family and I loved this home. It was tranquil and peaceful with a lot of space in the house for my family to comfortably spread out and each have our own spaces. This home was beautifully furnished. When we arrived at the house we were impressed with the beautiful house. The pictures do not do it justice. Marilyn and her staff were always available for questions or concerns. I don't usually return to the same vacation spot because I like to try different things but after talking to my family after this summer we are strongly contemplating making this a tradition because the location and house was amazing.

When you look up the word, Relaxing, this is what you'll find: free from disturbance meaning the craziness of everyday life, calm from anything that will stress you out, peaceful because the location of this house is always quite, restful because this home had some of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept it. Well you get the picture!!! Now if you really want to get the same picture that our family did I would recommend booking up this house while there is still time. This home is conveniently located near the highway, and easy to get to many touristy attractions. When you need to recharge your batteries, or just unwind and reconnect to your family, this is the property for you

The house was perfectly situated in a quiet residential neighborhood and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The spacious back yard was perfect for a large group, but it also made for a relaxing getaway. The entire family wanted to stay longer. The pool was perfect. The 8-person hot tub was delicious. There were lots of lounge chairs for us and the grill was huge. Everything about the house was perfect. I would love to come back again. I highly recommend this house.

I literally just wanted some time off to spend with my kids and husband and a few close relatives and friends but didn’t want to go so far away. It must have been through the grace of God that I came across this ginormous house and for the price the owner was asking for…practically a STEAL! I’m so happy in the decision I made in renting this home as opposed to just practically handing away my money to a hotel/resort, everything was conveniently close by, beaches, shops, theaters….there was even a guide book at the house that came in really handy. My kids loved the pool so much that it was difficult keeping them out. My husband enjoyed the outdoor BBQ and looked cute working the grill as well. This house has everything anyone could ever ask for and I mean EVERYTHING! It was completely furnished, kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, cookware and utensils. Everyone enjoyed spending time together but the best part is that everyone got to go their separate ways at night in their own bed rooms with their own TV (def a must if you’re a soap opera fanatic as I am). The only thing that I wasn’t too crazy about was the check in (3 pm) and check out (11 am) time, it was a little too late and definitely too early for my taste (mostly because I really didn’t want to leave). I def recommend not only this house, but the owner as well...very pleasant woman, it was like dealing with a family member…she was very welcoming and will most definitely rent from her again, am already counting down the days to my next vacation.

Best Alternative to Fire Island

My partner and I wanted to try something new, we originally always go to Fire Island and although we will always love that place, I can’t express how expensive it is just to go for a weekend with friends not to mention that we can’t help but feel stranded in a way (we don’t drive) because once the ferry leaves, that’s it! You will be staying whether you want to or not. I would have never thought that I would find a house of this size, with amenities such as linens, towels, beach chairs, hot tub, and pool included for such a reasonable price at the Hamptons none the less…I thought it had to be a mistake, I literally had to call to confirm the rates. The owner was very prompt in her responses whether it would be through phone and or email, and she definitely went out of her way to make sure we were properly accommodated as well as gave awesome recommendations to nearby shops and restaurants. I never had such a pleasant and smooth experience. It was a one, two, three transaction and was very pleased with the outcome, will be coming back next year for sure!
